Memorization

Now that you have both lines memorized at reduced speed, your next task is to combine them and memorize all four lines at full speed.  You will definitely need to take a break at some point here, since you are now memorizing four lines instead of two.  Just remember to be patient and to never get frustrated.  Since you are still new to Rhythmic Phonetic Training, this process may take some time, but know that by getting through it, you are doing wonders for your acoustic memory.

I have broken the process down into steps.  For each step:
  • Press play and sing along with the artist until the end of the track.
  • Try to recall the lyrics from memory without the aid of the audio.  If you cannot do this, repeat the process until you can.
  • Once you are able to sing the lyrics out loud to yourself from memory, move on to the next step.

Step 1 (Review)

Step 2: Lines 3-4 Memorization

Step 3: Transition

Step 4: Build Speed

Once you are comfortable reciting these lines without the aid of audio, move on the Submission page.
